Kadir Has University was founded in 1997 by Abdul Kadir Has, who has dedicated his life to education. The University has seven faculties, including the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Communication, The Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Art and Design.

The goal of Kadir Has University is to create an educational, research and discussion environment at the level of the best universities in the world; Therefore, education is provided on the basis of all traditional disciplines and modern and advanced disciplines. Student life

The interior space of the Sibali campus of Kadir Has University covers an area of 45,000 square meters with faculties, institutions, the university and the presidency, as well as classrooms, laboratories and the university central library.

Kadir Has university has a sports center including a fitness center, a studio room, male and female locker rooms, and a sports instructor room in the Sports Hall located on Cibali Campus. Handball, volleyball, basketball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, karate branches are practiced in Sports Hall. Also, there is an outdoor basketball court, an open area mini football field and a boathouse belonging to the shovel team in the Golden Horn in front of Cibali Campus.

The university has a health center located on the campus of Kadir Has University, provides health services to students. In addition, students are provided with health insurance in return for a small contribution. also, they can take Psychological Counseling free of charge.

For the students who are interested there are 34 students’ clubs that they can participate in.
