Beykoz university is one of Turkey’s youngest private higher education centers that was established in 2016. The university is located at the biggest city of the country, Istanbul. The founders of the university established the vocational school of logistics in 2008 first, and after 8 years of activities and gaining experience, they took their mission to the next step and established the Beykoz university with a huge emphasis on logistics and logistics education. The university emphasizes teaching skills as well as theoretical knowledge to its students. 

The university consists of several campuses and educational buildings in the Kavacik neighborhood of Istanbul. Most faculties of the university are at the Kavacik campus. There is a separate campus for foreign languages, bachelor programs and the rectorate office of the university in the same area of the city.

Since the university has just recently been founded, it is relatively small. However, the facilities of the university have been designed and prepared for more students than today. Today, there are 5000 students studying at this university. These students study at 6 faculties of the university and are supported by around 200 teachers and professors. The university offers about 45 programs at associate and Bachelor levels and 15 in Master level. There are no PhD programs at this university.

Faculty of engineering and architecture:

This faculty has provided one of the most convenient atmospheres to all its students. There are many possibilities for students such as double majors, exchange programs, summer schools, minor programs and internship programs. The faculty offers courses in English and Turkish languages. One of the advantages of this faculty is the high-quality and well-educated staff. 

Faculty of social sciences:

This faculty consists of 2 departments, the department of psychology and the department of political sciences and international relation. All of these programs are offered in English. The faculty has employed knowledgeable professors and teachers in all its departments. 

Faculty of civil aviation:

With the growth of the aviation industry in Turkey, a need for more engineers in this field has emerged. This faculty was created to educate students who have the knowledge and skills to solve all the problems of Turkish aviation industry. The faculty offers only one program and that is aviation management.
