As a result of efforts of Mehmet Bulut, and later his daughter, Nilufer Bulut, Bulut educational foundation was created to support young and talented Turkish students. After years of experience in the field of education, Galata university was established in 2020 by Nilufer Bulut. This university consists of modern infrastructure, but they have put more emphasis on qualified staff in the university, which is as they believe, more important than any type of facilities. They believe that nothing can work well, unless it is supported by a well-trained staff. The knowledgeable and qualified staff of this university help students reach high levels in their educational life.

Istanbul Galata university gets its name from the Galata tower in the city center. The university is located in the Galata area, in the Meshrutiet street. The campus is located at the heart of Istanbul, therefore business centers, healthcare centers, educational and governmental centers are all in walking distance of the university.

At the moment, there are 21 departments operating at this university. These departments offer 21 programs, 7 associate degree and 14 undergraduate programs. Faculty of dentistry:

This faculty has recently been established in 2021 and is now enrolling students for its programs. The faculty offers 2 courses, one taught in English and the other taught in Turkish. So, students do not need an English language certificate and can study in Turkish too. Students of this faculty will practice their knowledge on models before joining any clinic or hospital. There are several laboratories at this faculty too.

Faculty of health sciences:

This faculty consists of 3 departments and offers 1 program in each of these departments. Nursing, rehabilitation and nutrition are the 3 programs offered by this faculty. Nursing is one of the most popular programs of Galata university in general and enrolls many students every year. Students of this faculty have access to several laboratories and practice centers, in which they practice their knowledge and learn the skills needed for a successful career.
